APHA is required by law to file a Financial Statement with Companies House within 9 months from the end of the financial year. In APHA’s case the end of the Financial year is the 31st March, which means that they must be filed by the 31st December. The statement is prepared by the Finance Team and then checked by the Medway’s Technical Accountant before being presented to the Executive Board for scrutiny. When the Board have agreed it, the statement is submitted to the AGM for approval before being filed at Companies House.
